Big news out of Crown Castle (CCI). Jay Brown will retire, effective January 16, from his roles as: President CEO A director of the company He notified the company of his decision on December 6th, 2023. I view this as great news for shareholders, even if it isn’t great news for the CEO.
Overall it seems to be a positive for CCI. However, Elliott orchestrated much of the Uniti and Windstream mess so one needs to step back look at all three entities and try to piece together what is going on.
The most charitable way of describing Elliotts take down of Windstream is shady. After Windstream & Unity changed some lease terms Elliott took a large position in the bonds then forced co. into BK by having that declared a material event. His bonds got paid off, the commons got shafted. The 2 companies are in a related business to CCI

It may be a good idea to look into that. I wasn't interested in those companies before, but this could make them more relevant.
