Crown Castle International (CCI) delivered a monster earnings update for Q2 2025. The increased guidance is the big story.
- Old AFFO per share guidance: $4.115
- New AFFO per share guidance: $4.195
- Increase: 1.94%.
That increase in AFFO per share guidance aligns with an increase of $35 million in projected total AFFO (from $1,795 million to $1,830 million).
That sounds great, but we want to dive a bit deeper.
Note: There is a report claiming that the guidance of $4.20 per share (they rounded) easily surpasses a consensus estimate of $3.88. That report, by a prominent site, is inaccurate. The author used consensus estimates for FFO per share instead of AFFO per share, but compared it to guidance for AFFO per share.
